From watching his son’s little league game to removing a beehive behind home plate at Chase Field and later throwing out the first pitch, it was a truly eventful 24 hours for beekeeper Matt Hilton.

The expected starting rotation for the Diamondbacks’ weekend series against San Diego is set to feature Slade Cecconi on Friday, Brandon Pfaadt on Saturday, and ideally Zac Gallen on Sunday. Last season, Arizona went 7-6 against the Padres.
