How to watch the San Francisco Giants on DIRECTV STREAM

  • Pricing begins at $79.99/mo
  • 75+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

DIRECTV STREAM is one of the best services to have as a Giants fan. It has every channel you could need to watch the team play, outside of Apple TV Plus for those select exclusive Friday night games. If you live in the Bay Area, DIRECTV STREAM has you covered with NBC Sports Bay Area as well as every channel you would need throughout the season to watch nationally broadcast games. The slight catch is that you'll need to get at least the Choice Package, which is the second tier, to get the MLB Network included.

DIRECTV STREAM is also great if you have non-baseball fans in the house. The base Entertainment package comes with over 75 channels and unlimited cloud DVR, and the Choice Package brings you up to over 105 channels and unlimited cloud DVR. DIRECTV STREAM also offers multiple add-on bundles if you want more sports, premium channels, Spanish viewing options and more.

How to watch the San Francisco Giants on Fubo

  • Pricing begins at $79.99/mo
  • 161+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

Fubo is another great option, especially for Bay Area residents, because it includes NBC Sports Bay Area and the majority of channels needed for nationally broadcast games, except for TBS. Note that Fubo includes a regional sports fee in areas where an RSN is available.

The drawback of Fubo is that you will need to get at least the Elite tier package to get MLB Network. MLB Network is also available in Sports Plus with an NFL RedZone add-on for an extra monthly fee, but if you are already paying for the Pro tier, you might as well just go up to Elite for less money. All tiers of Fubo packages come with 1000 hours of Cloud DVR space and up to 10 viewing screens.

How to watch the San Francisco Giants on Hulu + Live TV

  • Pricing begins at $76.99/mo
  • 95+ live TV channels
  • 3-day free trial

Hulu + Live TV is another great option, especially for Bay Area residents, because it carries NBC Sports Bay Area but it also carries all of the networks needed for nationally broadcast games and the MLB Network in the base package for the Live TV option. You’ll also get access to Disney Plus and ESPN Plus

The streaming service bundle is great for sports fans with families, especially young kids. Put some "Frozen" or "Moana" on the iPad, and you can watch multiple innings in peace. Hulu + Live TV also comes with unlimited Cloud DVR storage so you can set up recordings and visit saved shows over and over again.

How to watch the San Francisco Giants on Sling TV

  • Pricing begins at $40.00/mo
  • 31+ live TV channels
  • Free trial currently unavailable

Sling TV may be the best option for Giants fans who do not live in the Bay. None of the Sling TV packages carry the Giants RSN, but the Sling Orange & Blue plan will give you every channel you need for the club's nationally broadcasted games, and the Sports Extra add-on for an extra monthly fee will give you the MLB Network.

The Orange & Blue Plan, which you need for the complete package of national broadcast channels, comes with 47 channels and no annual contracts. The second-tier sports add-on, Sports Extras, comes with 25 bonus sports channels so you can catch all of your teams, no matter what sport.

How to watch the San Francisco Giants on YouTube TV

  • Pricing begins at $72.99/mo
  • 100+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

YouTube TV is another service that carries NBC Sports Bay Area, but you can't get MLB Network, even with a sports add-on. However, if you're also a football fan, you may want to take a look because YouTube TV has a partnership with NFL Sunday Ticket and you can add it to your Base Plan.

YouTube TV offers over 100 live channels and unlimited DVR space. You can have up to six household accounts and three simultaneous streams. There are no annual contracts, and you can customize your package with various add-ons, including premium entertainment channels and even more sports.

How to watch the San Francisco Giants on Apple TV+

  • New Apple Originals streaming every month
  • Compatible with most streaming devices
  • Includes select MLB and MLS games

In addition to access to cable channels, MLB fans will need an Apple TV+ subscription. Apple TV+ will be streaming a doubleheader every Friday night throughout the 2024 regular season. Fans in 60 countries and regions can watch two big matchups every week with no local channel restrictions.

The Apple TV+ schedule for the first half of the season has already been announced, and the only game on the streaming service featuring the Giants is their May 3 game against the Phillies.

How to watch San Francisco Giants out-of-market games with MLB.TV

Of course, we can't forget about MLB.TV. It is perhaps the most straightforward option for Giants fans who live outside of the Bay Area. With this service, ou can watch every MLB game live or on-demand. MLB.TV subscribers who live in the market can't watch Giants games live – you have to watch on NBC Sports Bay Area –  but will have access to them afterwards.

It's also worth noting that all live Giants and Oakland A's games will be blacked out in the U.S. territory of Guam. However, you will still have access to MLB.TV exclusives like "Big Inning" and “At Bat,” the latter of which allows you to listen to games live and on-demand.
